INSULATION

Insulation is a critical component of any building's design, as it provides protection against weather and temperature fluctuations. Insulation is a material that helps to reduce the flow of heat between two objects. It can be used on interior walls and roofs, as well as exterior walls. There are many different types of insulation available in our store, including cellulose, RockWool, Johns Manville and more.

The choice of which to use depends on both the type of home you live in and the location where it will be built. For instance, if you live in a colder area but want to build your house near the water, you'll need insulation that can withstand moisture. If you live in a warmer climate with frequent storms and high winds, you'll want something that will protect your home from damage caused by these elements.

The type of insulation used also affects how much energy your home uses over time—the more efficient the insulation is at blocking heat or cold from entering or escaping through gaps in walls or floors or ceilings around windows or doors, the less energy your home uses.

DRYWALL

Drywall is a construction material that is designed to be applied over framing to create interior walls. Drywall can be made from either gypsum or paper. The most common type of drywall is gypsum board, which is composed of a layer of gypsum sandwiched between two layers of paper and it is used as an interior finish in residential and commercial structures.

Gypsum drywall has been used since the 1950s and it has many benefits over other types of wall coverings like plaster or wood paneling because it's easy to install and repair, fire resistant, mold resistant, and durable.

Certainteed drywall is available in five different finishes: Smooth, Hand Scraped, Wood Grain. Each finish offers its own unique look and feel, as well as different levels of sound absorption and durability.

  • The smooth finish is smooth to the touch, has a slight texture and is suitable for residential applications.
  • The hand scraped finish incorporates a light wood grain into the surface that gives it an authentic appearance similar to real wood without requiring the maintenance associated with actual wood. This finish also features excellent sound absorption properties, making it ideal for living spaces such as bedrooms or family rooms where privacy and noise control are key concerns.
  • The wood grain finish has an ultra-smooth texture that creates an authentic appearance similar to real wood without requiring any maintenance whatsoever! This finish also offers excellent sound absorption properties as well as superior durability compared to most other drywall finishes available today, due to its ability to resist cracking or chipping when struck by objects such as furniture or doors closing against them.
The smoothness of the finish feels great on your fingers, and it looks fantastic in any room. The wood grain finish is perfect for anyone who wants to add a touch of style and personality to their space without having to worry about maintaining it.
